Born in Flete House, near Yealmpton in the beautiful South Hams Area, Jack spent his childhood in Plymouth and, interestingly, now rings the original Plymouth Argyle Green Army bell as Town Crier
After a few decades as a DJ and MC in Plymouth , he became a Publican at Sam Weller's, Upper Borough Walls in Bath where he met and married his lovely wife Elizabeth, an American, and then moved to San Francisco. Jack went back to DJ and MC work at "posh weddings" it was at this time Jack found the calling to be the Town Crier of the City he grew up in.
Jack and Elizabeth came back to glorious Devon in 2009 and live happily in the Manadon Park area.
Many, many, proclamations later and Jack is possibly the most recognisable, and certainly unmissable, figure on the streets of most Devon towns.
Jack has chosen to remain unadopted, which means that he is able to represent any town in Devon, or the county itself, having said that Jack is a lifelong Plymouth Argyle supporter - so is mainly only available in the "Green" part of Devon
He is, above all else, a proud Devonian!
